TR: Taboose trail to Bench Lake

Well, the goal is to get into Bench Lake. I don't know enough about it to know if there is an easier trail to get into it.
We plan on sleeping in lone pine, take the car to the pass.. then going up. They are checking to see if they can get the permits
the say before.

My brother keeps saying things will be ok, and as long as I am comfortable being uncomfortable, I should be ok. I don't think they are trying to rush it, as the goal is two days to get into Bench Lake.

Of course, I am nervous/worried, that is my nature. A worry wort. But yeah, I am not experienced at altitude nor overly active.

I have thought I"d be losing weight as I've been training pretty hard, I am actually gaining weight. 4lbs this last 2 weeks. I thought I'd be losing weight. :-(
