After reading all the posts the clear lesson for me is that when we make decisions about seeking adventure and danger, we could also be exposing SAR teams to that extreme danger especially during stormy conditions. While we might accept that our death during a winter adventure was of our choosing, please consider the lives for our SAR teams when making such decisions.
