Highly unmotivated right this moment as I lay on the couch but don’t want to waste my upcoming few days off...

Any info on clouds rest from Yosemite Valley? The webcam seems to show very little snow. Yosemite ranger station phone says they only answer their phones through October not to mention it’s thanksgiving.

Also, is Yosemite Valley crowded around this time? I can’t imagine it being busy. Last time I did Clouds rest from happy isles I vowed never to do it again during tourist season.

So if anyone’s browsing HST while food coma’d out, id like some info.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Tioga Pass is closed...but the signs don't say where
They usually close it near Crane Flat. If so, you have a long hike ahead of you!

Yeah if I am gonna go I’ll be going via happy isles. But to be completely honest lounging around at home doesn’t seem like the worst thing right now either haha

Did Clouds Rest from the valley day after Christmas. Only the smallest of snow patches along the trail. Still throngs of tourists moving at a glacial pace around the waterfalls but as soon as you get past Vernal there was basically no one.

Camped at little yose valley. It was cooooold but with no other groups there it was quite nice.
