wreynier - How were the bugs on the rest of your trip? I'm heading out in that area with my boys July 5. We are going to be well prepared to deal with them, and conditions will likely change by then, but having an idea what to expect would be great!

We still had a great time despite the bugs - having the right gear makes all the difference! But as you said, conditions change so quickly, so I would keep checking the forum until the day before your trip!
