Trip advice: Sierra High Route section (DP -> TM)

I've done the SHR twice. I'd recommend heading to Superior Lake from the Beck's Lake TH, then going over Nancy Pass into the Minaret region. The view of the Minarets from Nancy pass is worth the additional mileage. Plus, it's nice to jump right into XC travel (instead of on trail travel) as early in your trip as possible. The route finding from Lake Catherine to Blue Lakes can be tricky, so it would be a good idea to get some XC experience from Superior Lake to Minaret Lake on day one.
