Parking for Agnew Meadows when road closed

Hi all,

I have a trip leaving from Agnew Meadows on Sunday 6/23/19. The Reds Meadow road will still be closed, so we will have to hike in from the Main Lodge, but I am a little confused on where to park our cars. Should we just look for street parking below the Lodge? Any advice appreciated.

You need to phone the MM ski area resort. During ski season there is no overnight parking for winter non lodge parking areas as they may need to clear snow. However this is a special year when mountain biking would normally have already started and at this point they will never need to do any more road snow removal so they are likely adjusting their policy on the fly. Since people are now doing backcountry trips from the lodge until Devils Postpile Road opens, they have to be providing a place to do so and it may well not be as they have done in the past.
