Phil Martz lists "Glacier Ridge Pass" (name made up by him?) at 36.63284, -118.56034, elev. 11,829, class 3. It is right next to the location you are asking about. See https://web.archive.org/web/20170524174 ... es-new.htm.

I couldn't get the archive page to open properly. We found the crossing to be class 3, but I couldn't tell if that was just cuz of the snow blocking easier options. For us the most challenging part was accessing the sloping ledges from the soft snow. Certainly the beauty and ease of the descent to Cloud canyon is worth a lot.
