Shadow Creek is the default permit for Ediza. The trail head is Agnew Meadows.

(same link that c9h13no3 just posted).
It shows the three “permitted” trails starting at the same trailhead (Agnew Meadows). Note that the “River Trail” and “Shadow Creek” trail follow the same route for the first 2.5 miles.

This late in the season, your chances are excellent for getting whatever permit you need as a walk-up; just have a backup destination just in case.
