TR: Herlan Peak 2/12/17

Post by peaksandpotatoes »

Went up to Herlan Peak last weekend and crawled up and down fresh snow all day long. My kinda Sunday. Photos courtesy of new friends, Kee and Ning. There were 7 people on this little trek. It was Kathi's idea. We literally went "straight up" from Memorial Point. No route finding necessary. Anytime the kicker asked for an opinion on the route, Kathi would yell back "straight up!" :D

Looks cold but beautiful pictures.

Memorial Point?? Is that just south of the Ponderosa Ranch? Did you see Ben, Adam, Hoss and Little Joe?

Just kidding!

Is Kathi our HST KathyW?

The snow looks very deep. Did you switch taking point to bust trail?

Thanks for the great pictures!
