So I was up at Heavenly messing around on the slopes and decided to hike up Monument Peak real quick to snap some photos. There was a really cool fog layer covering Tahoe and the Carson Valley but I kinda lagged a bit and the fog receded a bit off the lake, but still made for a fun little walk. Thought I would share with you all. There is a little memorial placed up on top for a gentleman named Parker Fox.

All in all it was a good day of snowboarding and I really enjoyed the views. If any of you frequent Heavenly and haven't done the walk up from Sky chair, I recommend it. :drinkers:

Professional Sierra Landscape Photographer

I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.

Have a safer backcountry experience by using the HST ReConn Form 2.0, named after Larry Conn, a HST member: http://reconn.org
