Hiking To A Waterfall// Desolation Wilderness// Horsetail Falls

Today I started my hike right off at Pyramid Creek Trailhead right off highway 50. I had full intentions of hiking to the lakes above the falls and do a little fishing but a few dumb mistakes made it not safe for me. I forgot to bring my water filter so by the time I got to the falls I had drank all of my water. I also got a late start and the day got really hot so I decided not to push myself. Better to be safe than sorry. Hopefully next week I will get an earlier start, bring my filter and then we will get a little fishing in.
