It was a little slow/down for about 10 minutes. Happens now and again while the server goes through a regular maintenance reboot.

started again about 7:10pm PDT. Two different pc's on two different networks getting 520 and 522 errors. Just a heads up. This pc happened to be able to connect for this message.

I've submitted a hosting support ticket, but have my doubts it'll do much good since % downtime is calculated over the course of a month and the standard 99.9% uptime claim isn't hard to hit when only down for a combined 30-60 minutes/month.

Still not sure what has caused the unusual down time periods over the past few days but I suspect we're getting hit with bruteforce 404 attacks. I'm doing what I can to work through the issue with the host company. Thank you for your patience, everyone!

I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.

Have a safer backcountry experience by using the HST ReConn Form 2.0, named after Larry Conn, a HST member: http://reconn.org
