Site down time

Post by ERIC »

The server was down for a few minutes tonight. Server was reset. We're back to normal. Sorry for the trouble.

On a bright note, we've been up on average 99.9% of the time for the past few years. Usually down time only last for a short time. If you are ever unable to bring up HST, just wait 10-15 minutes and try again. If the site is down for more than about 45 minutes, please email me.

Cheers,
Eric

Some of you might be wondering about the site issues earlier today. The Host rebooted the server, and that somehow corrupted the cached template files. I think that's why the index page and maybe other areas of the forums were acting goofy, or not showing up at all for some people. I've flushed the cache, and everything seems to be working properly again.
