Wierd posts or spam?

Post by oldranger »

Eric

When we notice spam or something suspicious in a post should we let you know and if so through public forum or pm?

Excellent question.

I suppose PM would be best, just in case the post/poster is legit. The only request is that you wait until the post has been there for a little while - we're normally pretty good finding them on our own, so are really most interested in being directed towards what could be considered something we might have missed. One of us usually logs in and cleans that sort of thing up at least once or twice per day.

Either me, Markskor, or Copeg are who you should be contacting to take the trash out.

Thanks, I've noticed it doesn't take you too long. The one I noticed yesterday was gone in a couple of hours.

There is also a 'report post' on each post (the exclamation point in the upper right) which - although I've never seen it in action - should alert us of anything suspicious

Forgot about that. Thanks Greg. That's probably the best way to report a post or poster.
