American Bald Eagles Sighted In SNF

Post by maverick »

Kern River Conservancy
The most majestic of them all. The American Bald Eagle perched on a tree along the Kern River just below the Johnsondale Bridge. There have been many sightings recently on the Kern of these beautiful eagles from up here in Sequoia National Forest down to the river banks of the Kern in Bakersfield.

I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.

Have a safer backcountry experience by using the HST ReConn Form 2.0, named after Larry Conn, a HST member: http://reconn.org
