The attention of the article is on "National Parks", but really the issues are the same for all of the Sierra and the deserts. I am old enough to see and feel the difference between 45 years ago and now. It really hit home about fifteen years ago when gazing outwards from the Sequoia and from Joshua Tree and realizing how much the pollution was invading the magical places I once assumed inviolable.
