cgundersen wrote:One question: I put up descriptions of several ridge routes that are "unofficial". Do you want to list them as such, and are they worth identifying with the red icon designating an off-trail pass?
Best,

Consensus at this point has been to title the post with '(Unnofifcial)' at its end, which seems appropriate here. Probably worth putting on the map as well (only a few folks have permission to do so at the moment...perhaps if they reach a point in numbers we might separate them into another category)
Thanks again for all the informative posts here!

Never put off a backpacking trip for tomorrow, if you can do it today...

I added Brewer Pass so it can be crossed off the list.
I don’t need a goal destination. I need a destination that meets my goals.

I noticed that Hell Hole (in the Clark range in YNP) is misplaced on the HST map. It is “one col too far north”, that is, on the wrong side of a peaklet along the ridge line.
Is this the right place to contact?
I have crossed that pass in 2005 and could provide a few more words than the stub from Secor that is currently linked with the pass.
