I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.

Creek Fire is closing in on Chiquito trailhead, Jackass trailhead, and Norris trailhead. It has reached Fernandez trailhead, Isberg Trailhead (Granite Creek), Mammoth Trailhead, and it went past The Niche, getting close to Cora Lakes. It has jumped North Fork San Joaquin River. See https://caltopo.com/map.html#ll=37.5206 ... a=modis_mp

Today's update at https://inciweb.nwcg.gov/photos/CASNF/2 ... 5829-0.pdf. To find it go to Creek Fire on InciWeb at https://inciweb.nwcg.gov/incident/7147/, at the bottom click on "Creek Fire Update for September 20, 2020", and at the bottom click on "Creek Fire Update for September 20, 2020 (pdf 203 kb)".

That's kind of a shame. My dog and I were backpacking around Cora Lakes in July.

According to the Caltopo Map it has overrun the HST and the northern flank is heading up the Kern Canyon to Chagoopa Falls heading towards Kern Hot Springs. :(
