Dancing Bear Pass

Post by bgdfcg »

Looking to cross Dancing Bear Pass this weekend - from Lake Italy Pass into Bear Lakes. First time Route. Any idea if enough snow remains to need (or want) to take micro spikes? Any other suggestions appreciated.
Thanks,

There was no snow at the end of July. But there was thunder, lighting, rain and hail :D

I was there last week and there was still no snow :D Definitely no need for micro spikes.

I found it a bit tedious getting across from Italy Pass, but pretty straight forward and nothing too challenging.

When White Bear Lake comes into view it looks like a steep drop down to the lake, but the descent was also pretty straight forward.
