I spoke with a buddy of mine yesterday. He was at Wanda Lake when the Helicopter came in to Davis. They hiked up to the high spot between the lakes and watched the whole thing. I gave him an update on the incident.

He looks like he's in very good shape - might be going for a 100 day effort. That is, target 30 miles/day with infrequent stops to avg 26 days.
