We are trying to assess the weather/trail conditions in the area from 10/13-10/16, contacting Parchers Resort to see if they can shed some light on this. If you were in the area or even North or South of the Bishop area and have any first hand info on the weather conditions on the above dates, please chime in.

Contacting SEKI and Inyo to get additional info about Roberts expereince and abilities so those of us who are familiar with this area can chime in on possible location he may be found.

Mav, I know it's just incidental but I was at South Lake (not in the back country) on the morning of 10/13. The WX was cold and mostly clear.

PS. Great find Russ.
