Inyo SAR Incident 7/3 Mt. Whitney

Use this forum to stay informed on missing persons alerts, active SAR's and unfortunate hiker accidents we can all hopefully learn from. Inyo Co Sheriff's Dept:
Inyo County Sheriff's Office received notification of a hiker that was injured glissading from the Trail Crest. The hiker found refuge at the camp until H-80 arrived. She was taken to a local airport where emergency medical services was standing by.
