Missing Hiker Alert 7/14 Boundary Peak (Resolved)

Use this forum to stay informed on missing persons alerts, active SAR's and unfortunate hiker accidents we can all hopefully learn from. Any information you may have on a missing person, including first hand weather related information or any other insight (however little) may prove to be critical information to Law Enforcement / SAR in locating the person in question.

Mono Co Sheriff's Dept:
My dad went missing yesterday while hiking in Inyo National Forest. Would you mind sharing a post with this information to spread the word? His family and friends have contacted local authorities and searches are taking place. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Reporting a missing person/hiker. Male named Ronald Bolen ---He was hiking and was last seen at the peak (Boundry Peak) of White Mountain Wilderness + Inyo National Forest Wilderness at 2:38 CT yesterday (Tues- 7/13). He was last known on the Trail Canyon trail.

Pictures attached-this is last communication with him--picture of himself on the peak--this is what he was wearing. Esmerelda County NV sheriff's office has been notified. 775-485-6393.

If you could please include in your broadcast and post on social media ASAP. Thank you

Missing hiker last seen on the trail to Boundary Peak in the White Mountains. Please notify Esmeralda County Sheriff’s Office at 775-485-6393 if you have any information.

I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.

He was found and transported to a medical facility.
