splitting old mans bowl 2/3/16

Post by Beantown »

Olds man bowl is a 2 miles skin from convict lake, a really tough 2 mile skin, its between mini morrison and mt morrison.

it ended up being more like Old Crusty Mans Bowl. We were hoping for a pow fest a couple days after the storm but the winds got to it first. There was a crust over soft snow all the way from Convict Lake. Lots of Avy in the chutes before old mans bowl most likely during the snow storm days before. Still had a nice run though…

convict lake from above the ridge which sucked to skin up.

Looks like an awesome day! Thanks for sharing the pics, I'm heading out to a different area tomorrow and don't think I'll have quite as great conditions...

Very cool video.
