Glacier Lodge Road in the Winter?

Was planning to take a little jaunt up the South Fork Big Pine Creek sometime this winter, either Feb or March, and was looking for a little information on what the road conditions might be, any road closures, or where the best parking might be? Also, I want to bring my snowboard and was wondering how the runs are on the east side of Gayley, Sill, or any of the other slopes surrounding or near Willow Lake or Elinore? Was looking to set up a base camp and dayhike out to explore/snowboard the area, any information would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks!!
