luge death?

Post by balzaccom »

Is it just me? Or does that luge track in BC seem positively idiotic? I can't think of another situation on the planet where you would have people going 90 miles an hour right next to a series of steel posts like that. IF they designed a freeway along those lines, they'd never open it!

Why wouldn't they put some connecting panels across those pillars so that anyone who flies out of the luge track would hit a glancing blow, rather than stopping. dead.

Or just read a good mystery novel set in the Sierra; https://www.amazon.com/Danger-Falling-R ... 0984884963
