Conglomerate Mesa and Jack Gunn Peak in Death Valley

Dayclimbed Conglomerate Mesa, using only the description from Andy Zdon's 'Desert Summits'. I was on the wrong summit (no map, no waypoints), but found the right one. Then I went for Jack Gunn Peak, and again climbed the wrong peak, but found the right one. Both peaks were just off the edge of my map. Originally I didn't have a plan for Sunday, but since we didn't summit Saturday, I looked thru my book and found these.

Cori...What a beautiful area! The ice on the needles are very cool & those conglomerate rocks are amazing..I love the orange color..reminds me of Mosaic art work.

We have those conglomerate rocks in a few areas here..very interesting and beautiful I think
What a nice day it looks like you had :) :)
