Glacier National Park, July 4th 2018

Post by RiseToADry »

In addition to my week long backpacking trip to the Sierra, I managed to squeeze in a week in Glacier National Park around the July 4th holiday. Below are some pictures from the day trips we did over the week. If you'd like to read about the hikes in more detail, check out the links to our blog!

WOW! great photos. I grew up in Spokane Washington and we would go camping in Glacier Park every summer. I love that place.

I loved it as well. The mountains are so rugged and steep, it makes them extremely dramatic. Most of the park is fairly remote too - a lot of the hikes are 10+ miles round trip which eliminate some crowds.

Glacier isn't known for its fishing, but we managed to catch a few fish throughout the week. My biggest was 17" yellowstone cutt.
