My son and I went fishing, and he caught a nice Cobia :
The place we stayed at fried it up and it was delicious!

Belize is a small country, about 8,900 sq. miles, but is B I G on adventure. The population is only 408,000 people, comprised of Mestizos, Mayans, Garifuna, Creole, Ex-Pats and surprisingly; Mennonites. Every local we met was super friendly and helpful. And while the food is neither fancy nor complicated (a lot of rice and beans), everything we ate was fresh, delicious and (mostly) healthy.
I’d like to give a huge shout out and big thanks to all the staff, guides and boat captains at:
Black Rock Lodge
Rainforest Haven Inn
Pacz Tours
Jo Joe’s by the Reef
Sea Dreams Hotel
Caveman Snorkeling Tours
Esley Usher Fishing

Yeah, the Mayan ruins, scuba diving and snorkeling are world class. And laying in a hammock, drinking Belikins ain't bad either.
Your bird & fish photos are really good!

Whereas my son took all the dry land animal photos, I was the underwater photographer.
