Show yourself!

Grab your bear can or camp chair, kick your feet up and chew the fat about anything Sierra Nevada related that doesn't quite fit in any of the other forums. Within reason, (and the HST rules and guidelines) this is also an anything goes forum. Tell stories, discuss wilderness issues, music, or whatever else the High Sierra stirs up in your mind.

I don't know, we think Cisco looks like a combination of Bear and "Cujo." Was he a nice dog? He looks fierce.

He was a very good dog. Loved people, got along with fewer and fewer other dogs as he got older. Wasn't much of a mountain dog and could be pretty moody and emo.

Eleven years ago I was coming down Baldy when I ran into what could have been his brother, a dog named Grizzly, looked just like him:

Since Cisco was found wandering around downtown LA when he was three months old, for all we know they could really have been brothers.
