Major snowstorm coming this weekend

Grab your bear can or camp chair, kick your feet up and chew the fat about anything Sierra Nevada related that doesn't quite fit in any of the other forums. Within reason, (and the HST rules and guidelines) this is also an anything goes forum. Tell stories, discuss wilderness issues, music, or whatever else the High Sierra stirs up in your mind.

Major snowstorm coming this weekend

Guaranteed.

Today:
I put the snow blower away for the year.
Took off the snow tires.
Got the lawn furniture out.
Shovels and tire chains put away.
Pulled the grill out of storage and got it ready....

A perfect day on the back porch. Fresh snow for the margarita.

Did that already.

I guess I'm over conservative. I have put the outdoor furniture out, took the snow tires off, summerized and put away the snowblower, turned on the sprinkler system but never put away the tire chains. (once had to use them to get up a steep, bumpy, 6" deep dust 4 wheel drive road in the summer. Also experienced 8" deep hail storm when on the road mid summer). Oh the grill is always outside but under well ventilated cover and used all winter, even with snow on the ground.
