Back in CA

Grab your bear can or camp chair, kick your feet up and chew the fat about anything Sierra Nevada related that doesn't quite fit in any of the other forums. Within reason, (and the HST rules and guidelines) this is also an anything goes forum. Tell stories, discuss wilderness issues, music, or whatever else the High Sierra stirs up in your mind.

Back in CA

Post by Wandering Daisy »

I did not drop off the end of the earth; just lost my internet capabilities for 2 months. Back in Sacramento now. Had a good summer although it did not go as planned (never does). Trips reports (six trips in the Wind Rivers) will be forthcoming in the next month or so.

Probably healthier to stay there given the smoke and heat here.

Welcome home WD. Looking forward to your great TR's. Recently made good use of your old epic to Blue Canyon/Tunemah to help guide another HST member there... and now I really want to get there too!

What does that mean Nancy? We know you didn't get lost, ... was it weather? Grizzly bears?! Waiting to hear it. Ian.

Welcome back. Two months without internet including six trips in the Wind Rivers...Sounds wonderful indeed.
Since my fishing (etc.) website is still down, you can be distracted by geology stuff at: http://www.fresnostate.edu/csm/ees/facu ... ayshi.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
