Thanks, Oldhiker and BSquared! Doing short walks now (1-2 mi?) and checked on a gym so I can get on the recumbent bike which I'll do in a few days. My brand new bike is sitting in front of me and can't ride it. :\ Hoping I can drive the jeep home next week, instead of fly (plane fares are high, and I'd have to fly back if I do that)

I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.
