Where's the snow?

Post by Skibum »

Where's the snow!?? Geez, I was hoping to come home to at least 6 " or so on the ground and came back to nada. It was 62 at 3:00 pm yesterday here in Grant Grove! Has anyone skied Kirkwood yet? with all the powder alerts in my email, looks like they are off and running.

Happy Holidays

It just started raining here (Paso Robles, Ca.). Which likely means it's snowing in the upper Sierra. Since I'm a "west sider", I keep an eye on these cams for changes in the weather. http://www.theradioroom.org/NetCams.htm

Among other things santa brought me were a pair of Boreal 120's, which is a hybrid ski/snowshoe (if you can imagine that). So I am ready to go find some snow ASAP to try them out.
