Maybe someone can give me some advice on my pictures? They show upside down here, but when I select them they show fullscreen rightside up. They are shown correctly in the photo app on my laptop too. The original images were taken with a cellphone.

I like the idea of carrying on to camp at the top (west) end of 1000 Island Lake, and then doing a day hike from there. Either over North Glacier Pass, and from there up Banner or Davis, or just a wander around the starkly beautiful Ritter Lakes, or you might enjoy hiking over the easy pass into the Garnet Lake basin, passing by Nydiver Lakes. Those trips might give you a break from all the mossies. Good luck!

I agree with cloudlesssky's recommendation if not his orientation ;)

You would stand a good chance of getting a great flower show along the High Trail/PCT as well as the views.
