You can grab showers down in Yosemite Valley at Curry Village or the housekeeping camp.

If you don't mind dropping some $$, not too far from the Big Oak Flat exit from the park on Hwy 120, there's the Rush Creek Lodge. Otherwise, check out what's available in Groveland...pretty happening little historical Gold Rush era town.

Great place, and one of our members owns the place  : https://www.evergreenlodge.com/

I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.

Have a safer backcountry experience by using the HST ReConn Form 2.0, named after Larry Conn, a HST member: http://reconn.org

Evergreen Lodge looks good! Wondering if there is an HST Community promo code? :)

We decided to splurge for our night when we come back out: we have one of the cabins at Evergreen Lodge reserved. Looking forward to it, and thanks again for the suggestion.

I'm sure all of the businesses in the area have taken a hit these last few weeks, and they'll want all the business they can get for the rest of the season.

Now, like everyone else, I'm just watching this board, Inciweb updates, etc. every day and hoping the fires and smoke conditions continue to improve - we're hoping for good conditions out of Tuolumne Meadows in early September!
