Mammoth 2/10/19

Post by overheadx2 »

Just got back from Mammoth where I attempted to do some easy xc skiing with the wife. It dumped all day every day Friday afternoon until sunday. Didn’t get to do a lot of skiing except for lake Mary area due to avalanche danger. Lots of fun any way, and looks like a lot more on the way!

This is a pic of several of the Tamarack cabins. The occupants of the closest one had not been diligent about shoveling the doorway. Ended up being a snow storm in the house trying to dig out!

This is what it looked like after several hours during the biggest part of the storm!

Mammoth pack station almost covered. You can see the lumps in the background that used to be cabins, but now simply look like a snow lump with electrical wires connected.
