Althea Lake

Does anyone know if there's any decent camping spots by Althea Lake. Heading up this weekend and i'm looking for alternatives to Thousand Island lake and Garnet lake.Thanks

I was going to comment that I've never heard of Althea lake but Althea is one of my favorite songs so I'd have to seek it out. Altha lake is still something I'm curious about, hope you have a great trip.

Yeah, I was confused myself. On the forest service website campfire restrictions map its spelled Althea Lake. But everywhere else I look its Altha.

I've camped at Altha Lake. The West side is pretty darn impassable--steep slopes right into the water. There is a nice spot on the northeast corner, which not only allows access to the lake, but also has nice views to the East.

But if that spot is taken, I don't know where else you would camp at Altha Lake...rugged area. Here are some pics.
