Many thanx to Snowy who gave me a little insider info that this site was back up. So far, I think I might be the virgin HSTer, as I started cruising the eastern sierra boards just a year or so ago.
So, a brief and boring intro.... the greatest gift my dad gave me was an introduction to the eastern sierra. I spent my latter teens and young adulthood backpacking the major trails and passes of the eastern sierra. I thru hiked the JMT many years ago. I really like keeping my feet on the dirt, and only this past year have I started venturing into attempting peaks and going off trail. Am looking forward to continuing in that direction, cuz I have a lotta catchin' up to do when it comes to peak bagging.
My work and professional obligations have me pretty dang busy, so don't get out near as much as I like, but hopefully that will change next year.
Am looking forward to a this community!

Walking outside is where I find what's inside.
