This is my favorite lake for a few reasons. There was ALWAYS really good fishing action on some part of this lake from 2003 thru 2008. The fish all ran between 12 an 16 inches. It is a very senic lake. Becuase of it's location it has really nice weather. Despite an elevation of over 10.5K, in my 14 visits (10 trips) there we had great weather each and every time.

This is my son Mike.

Jim caught this fish in Ten Lakes Basin. It was the biggest he ever caught BP. Mike's the one who loves to BP.

Nice fish!

Here's a golden-rainbow hybrid from this past July:

The fishing was nice, but it was the scenery which really made this trip amazing.

Now that's what I'm talking about!! I love the colors.
"On this proud and beautiful mountain we have lived hours of fraternal, warm and exalting nobility. Here for a few days we have ceased to be slaves and have really been men. It is hard to return to servitude."
