I like it! But not something I would post as it appears to be wheeled vehicle in wilderness. Best kept to self.

Posting evidence of misbehavior in the wilderness has resulted in many fines. And will more and more do so, as I suspect it's way cheaper to pay someone to surf the net looking for this kind of thing than to put boots on the trails looking for it. And yep, wheeled things are not allowed in the wilderness.

Just to be clear: I don't know these guys, nor did I have anything to do with it.

i didn't find that too offensive. Not like it was a motorcycle. Guess one has to define better what a "wheeled" vehicle is. I don't see a skateboard on the sign going into wilderness areas with the lil' red circle and the hash mark.

They were good at it, though. I'd fall off a skateboard after kicking off.

For me this was certainly not something for which to be bothered which brings up a good point. Almost everyone here is or was a backpacker which means we have something important in common. At times I read about someone geting angry because someone else dosn´t agee with them. This, to me, is a real shame because, again, we have somthing important in common,

I guess I'm clueless – I don't see any anger in response to this.

Russ,

The regs say wheeled vehicle. It takes a special dispensation for a disabled person to use "off pavement" wheelchair or other non motorized device to enter the wilderness. People with bad backs who would like to pull a trailer with low pressure tires to carry their packs have a hard time as well, but they could pull a more damaging travois legally. Go figure!
