the same wilderness permit station gives you access to asking about those other areas mentioned. Did you?
Yea Cathedral Lakes and Tuolumne Meadows are all booked up.
Searching for available trailheads can be pretty frustrating after you've found out all your
top choices are booked. Damn holidays. haha
