Should I take this on my next UL backpacking trip?

Should I take this on my next UL backpacking trip?

So, my sister thinks differently than I do.. It has to weigh at least 15 lbs.

15 pounds divided up between 10 people is only a pound and a half per person. That's pretty light.

I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.

he carries his food. I get to carry his quilt, pad, favorite toy. Then there is the 26' leash. It'll be fine after we clear the pass. no people to attack.
Not sensing a bear attack with dog in tent, so his pack comes inside, food intact.
