SNF:

Access to Dinkey Lakes Wilderness from Dinkey Creek Road is again available to visitors to the Sierra National Forest. The Lower Cow Creek Bridge on Road 9S10 was damaged during a late winter storm in 2018 making the bridge unsafe for vehicle traffic, and closing the road. Access to the Dinkey Lakes Wilderness was difficult due to this closure by a longer detour to the Willow Meadow trailhead.

'Replacement of this bridge began last year and after delays due to COVID and the Creek Fire we are please to announce the Lower Cow Bridge Project was completed last Saturday June 5th. Access to the Dinkey Lakes Wilderness is now easier using this route.
