XC routes/shortcuts/old packer trails sub-forum in info booth?

There's a lot of useful shortcuts / routes between places that get buried in trip reports that don't qualify as passes. I've shared a few - an old packer trail between bench and red mountain basins, a way to shave off a few miles coming up goddard canyon heading to HFS pass, etc. Wandering Daisy's route to ladder lake and down was interesting to file away into my trip planning, but it sort of had to be found by searching for keywords then digging through posts etc.

Obviously not every possible XC makes sense - wandering through basins etc are straightforward, it'd be aimed mostly at shortcuts and connecting pieces. I don't think I'll ever get around to writing a catalog of full trip reports, but I'd be down for sharing things like my route from 3 island lake to the pinnacles basins, the cut down from them to trail, etc. It could be "must have 25 posts" type subforum if people are worried about overcrowding. I wouldn't see there being as much detail as the passes, but more of a quick "I did this, it worked for me, here's the cruxes or navigation is pretty open and DIY".

I'm not one for long trip reports - I personally like to only research xc passes and anything else that might be spicy, current conditions, etc and experience a new spot in the range with no idea of what's there aside from word of mouth and topo lines without looking at a ton of photos or google earth. I realize that's a personal quirk, but I'd love to have a collection of people's little shortcuts or routes to consider gluing into a trip I'm planning.
