...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 11 PM TONIGHT
TO 8 PM PDT SUNDAY ABOVE 8000 FEET...

* CHANGES...Updated total snow accumulations above 10000 feet.

* WHAT...Snow expected above 8000 feet. Total snow accumulations
of 1 to 3 inches, with localized heavier snow totals of 3 to 6
inches below 10000 feet and 6 to 10 inches above 10000 feet.

* WHERE...Mono County.

* WHEN...From 11 PM Friday to 8 PM PDT Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could become difficult.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Light snow accumulations will produce slick
conditions over Eastern Sierra passes, especially over Tioga and
Sonora Passes. Late-season backcountry enthusiasts should
anticipate light snow accumulations over area trails and
campgrounds.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Even light snowfall causes major travel delays, especially during
periods of high traffic volume. Be sure to allow extra time to
reach your destination. Leave extra space between vehicles since
it takes longer to stop on slick roadways.
