Food Resupply at Whitney Portal

Post by wgolighty »

I am planning a circuit hike from Kings Canyon to the summit of Whitney an back to Kings Canyon. I would like to do a food resupply at Whitney Portal. Is ther any place at Whitney Portal where someone can securely leave a food stash?

Better to ask Doug - owner/operator at WhitneyPortalStore.com...
I do recall the answer is yes...can mail a dated cache to a Lone Pine address (the Hostel) and they will transport and hold up there on the mountain, or drop the stash/can off yourself...nominal fee but good folks up there.
