Anyone hear how the road into Monache is yet? I'm afraid to ask...

I read somewhere that they had scheduled an opening date but that it has now been pushed back. I'm not sure why the date was pushed back but when I called the Blackrock Station a couple weeks ago they said that there were still a lot of trees down on the trail and that the meadows were heavily flooded. I would sugest calling the Blackrock Ranger Station for current info.

I went in first week of October. Other than being cold there were no issues. Road is open and easy to traverse as long as you have some height.
