Bear lockers at trailheads?

Bear lockers at trailheads?

Are there bear lockers at the North Lake and South Lake trailheads (near Bishop) that one can use if one is hiking the loop? Is it safe to leave even one odorous item in the vehicle here (I know it's not safe in Yosemite)?

It's never "safe" to leave odorous items in the vehicle. Not even one.
If you don't know where you're going, then any path will get you there.
