Convict / Dorothy lakes peak suggestions

I am doing a little base camping at Dorothy lake out of convict this weekend with some day hikes planned. Id like to hike to some of the smaller lakes to do some fishing and also hike a local peak. I will only have one day to hike a local peak and was planning on Red slate mountain. Any suggestions for any of the other peaks in that area? any lakes i should make sure to fish?
